This is very exciting! I finally watched last year's videos which were so inspirational. I'm looking forward to this year's and may try to send one myself but am not adept at making videos. I'll be teaching an embroidery class for senior ladies July 31 for the first time. You are at the top of my list of You Tube embroiderers I'll give them. Thank you so much for your wonderful videos which are easy to watch and always learn from!

I love and appreciate your expertise and have learned so much from your tutorials. I never know how many strands to use and sure do wish you would say or put it in the captions. I never have figured out where to"click below"and it's wholly aggravating to have to try to find another tutorial on strands or needles,etc. thanks

I just found your channel and I wholeheartedly agree with backing the main fabric piece. How does Calico Cotton translate in the United States. Is it Muslin or do I look for something else here in the U.S.?? It might just be me but I am not familiar with the term CALICO COTTON. I am loving your video. Isn’t it weird that ppl have to transfer a design. In just draw them. Sometimes I use iPad and a digital pen. But then in just them. I don’t copy designs and make my own. But then I did an art degree. But let’s be honest- they aren’t that complicated

Why do you use a backing fabric? (19:15 in the video)

I love your content! This really works! I learned this method as a young boy many, many years ago when I was taught how to weave in the ends of yarn on my crochet projects. It has served me well through the years for every gauge, from the bulkiest of yarns to to the very finest of needlework threads. Though there is some obvious flexibility with applications of different types of needles, it is important to note, especially for beginners, that failure to use the proper needle for the task can mean the difference between success and failure, and could possibly explain any undue difficulty experienced when using this method.
